AFHA Families,
The puck is about to drop on the Icebreaker Tournament, and we’d love to kick things off by bringing our entire Aviator community together!
Join us for AFHA Welcome Night on Friday, October 9 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at MRC Arena.
Come down for an evening of hockey, food, fun and community as we welcome another season of female hockey in Abbotsford!
Wear Your Jersey!
Players — wear your AFHA jersey and show your Aviator pride! Let’s fill the rink with Aviators and create an amazing atmosphere for the U15 and U18 teams hitting the ice that night.
What’s happening?
  • Catch some Aviators action on the ice – U15 at 5:30PM and the U18C Aviators at 7:15PM!*
  • Enjoy a hot dog off the BBQ  from 5:30PM – 7PM**
  • Take a shot at the Abbotsford Canucks inflatable shooter
  • Get your Aviator spirit on with face painting and hair tinseling
  • Make a poster and enter the colouring contest!
  • Check out the raffle table and enter the Icebreaker Tournament 50/50!
  • Connect with other players, families, coaches and volunteers
  • Celebrate the start of another great season together!
Your player doesn’t have to be playing that night to join us! Bring the family, wear your jersey, and come join the community. Let’s show our teams what an amazing hockey community they have behind them!
And if you’ve been thinking about getting more involved with AFHA, come say hello! There are lots of ways to lend a hand throughout the season, and we’d love to connect with you.
Come for the hockey. Stay for the community. ✈️
We can’t wait to see a sea of Aviators at Welcome Night! Friday, October 9 | 6:00–8:00 PM | MRC Arena
