Coach Jessica U15C1

AFHA is happy to announce Jessica Engelbrecht as the U15 C1 head coach!

Jess grew up at the rink, watching her brother play, and began her own hockey journey at the age of four with the Vancouver Angels. She played through the Angels’ rep program while spending her spring seasons competing with various AAA teams.

In 2016, Jess moved to Lillooet, where she played four more years of minor hockey. During that time, she spent one season as a goalie on the female team while also playing forward on the co-ed team. She was later invited to try out for the U18 AAA Thompson Okanagan Lakers, where she played during her final year of high school.

Following her time with the Lakers, Jess was recruited by the NAIT Ooks, where she played four years of college hockey while earning her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. During the 2023–2024 season, the Ooks captured the ACAC championship. In her final season, Jess reached 50 career league points and was named to the ACAC Second All-Star Team.

Now residing in Abbotsford, Jess is excited to share her passion for hockey and help inspire the next generation of players.

Welcome to Aviators Hockey Jess!!
