Girl's Hockey Test Drive

This is an opportunity for girls, ages 5-10, who have never played hockey to come out and try it with other girls in a non-competitive environment.
No skating experience is required.
We will have coaches on the ice.
Full gear is reccomended and encouraged.
Minimum gear is helmet, stick, skates, and gloves.

What: Drop in skill developement session for girls only. We will be workimg on skating, puckhandling, shooting, passing and more.
Why: To improve your hockey skills and have fun!!!
Who: Our instructor is Ralph Vos Jr. who has been training hockey players of all ages adn levels for over 10 years in the community. Ralph played high level ice hockey and roller hockey in his career, and also coached jr. B for three years with the Abbotsford Pilots.
$20.00 - semi private lessons with you and 3 of your friends!
$20.00 - drop in skill sessions - Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm
$10.00 - Play "drop in" 3 on 3 hockey with your teammates, friends and new people
Ice rentals available $100.00 per hour

-Open to grades 6, 7 and 8 boys and girls
-House and Rep players
-Cost is $125 a month and runs from Sept - March
(ARC takes ice out at the end of March) Total cost = $875
-Two ice times per week for 1 hr and 15 minutes with coaches
(Brad Bowen and another goalie coach)
-No academics will be missed - the ice time will alternate with regular PE blocks
(ie. Mon - PE, Tues - hockey, Wed - PE, Thurs - hockey, Fri - PE)
-Students in Fraser catchment area will be accepted first, then out of catchment, then out of district to a maximum of 90
(30 at each grade level)
-Students enrolled in Fraser's hockey academy get first entry into Yale Secondary's hockey academy for Grade 9
-Students must maintain a B average to stay in the academy
If enough girls enrolled they would consider a girls only session. As it stands there were several girl's parents at the info meeting.
This is time sensitive as the applications will be received on a first come, first served basis starting on Friday, February 1 at 8:00 am at Fraser.
